Our Preschool

Our Preschool caters for children aged 3 to 5 years

  • We have two main classrooms:

    • Garra [Garru] Room:

      • Mon & Friday: Ages 3 - 5 yrs

      • Tue, Wed, Thur: Ages 3 – 4 yrs

    • Baryugil [Bayugil] Room:

      • Tue, Wed, Thur: Ages 4 -5 years (Transition to school)

  • The age groups and rooms are dependant on the number and demographic enrolled for each year.

  • A small group / meeting room:

    • Muranny [Murrain] Room

  • Consultants Room:

    • Utilised by visiting Allied professionals and consultants

  • Opening Hours - Term Times only:

    Preschool

    • Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

    Administration

    • Monday - Wednesday 9:00am - 4:00pm

Here at Canowindra Preschool we have a long history of educating and caring for the children of Canowindra and the surrounding towns. We are dedicated to creating a caring learning environment that provides authentic learning experiences for each and every child. We are invested in the foundation of your preschooler’s lifelong learning.

This is a space where opportunities are created for your preschooler to think, problem solve and learn through collaboration. We want every child to leave our preschool program with a love of learning and skills that will prepare them for kindergarten. 

Every staff member is passionate about ensuring that all children learn, are engaged and have fun! 

Partnerships in early childhood education can promote a sense of belonging and being for preschoolers. We encourage you to join us for a scheduled visit, become involved as a parent/guardian, or connecting with us through the community.
